This slide consists mainly of a pink tissue, which is normal connective tissue. The purple spots are lobules containing multiple intralobular ducts. The acini, which were so dominant in the lactating gland, are not developed in the resting gland (which this is an example of). The intralobular ducts empty into interlobular excretory ducts.
