Excretory ducts of the submandibular gland (200X)

In this section, you can also see excretory ducts which transport the salivary fluid from the acini into bigger and larger "pipes" (or excretory ducts) that finally empties into the mouth thorough the submandibular duct (lat: ductus submandibularis).
