The cemento-enamel junction (CEJ) (100X)

Her are a few details from the future CEJ (cemento-enamel junction). Some call it the dentoenamel junction (DEJ). The epithelial root sheath of Hertwig is just a thin string of epithelium.

The predentine stains light red and can be seen as a narrow zone below the dentine. The unmineralized enamel stains violet.
