Retina of the eye (40X)

Use a diagram of the connections between the neurons in the retina while studying this section to help you determine what the different layers represent (ie which cell types and synaptic connections).

The cut is from a monkey. It is 3 micrometers thick and stained with methylene blue. The incision is relatively peripheral in the retina.
