Resorption lacunae (400X)

You'll find resorption lacunae that stretch all the way through the cementum and into the dentin. Within the lacunae, the reparative tissue is comprised of celleular cementum. The reparative tissue can easily be identified because of border formed next to the dentine. This border has a darker pink color.
